Ania is a Polish documentary photographer. Since 2015 she has been working on a long-term project documenting Ukraine. Over the years, she has returned regularly, building a sustained visual record of everyday life shaped by social change, and war. Her work focuses on ordinary moments and human presence, observing how individuals navigate uncertainty and transformation.
She began her photographic path in street photography, which shaped her visual language and narrative approach. The directness, attentiveness, and sensitivity developed on the street remain central to her documentary practice. She concentrates on the subtle relationships between people and their environment.
Kłosek is a recipient of the Grand Press Photo award and the Krzysztof Miller Award for Photojournalists (Poland), and the Slovak Press Photo award. Her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and internationally.
She has served as a juror in major international street photography competitions, including the Miami Street Photography Festival, London Street Photography Festival, Brussels Street Photography Festival, StreetPhoto San Francisco, Leica Street Photo and many others. She is a member of Women Photograph. She holds a degree in Intercultural Relations from the University of Warsaw and is currently continuing her studies at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava, Czechia.
